RULES & REGULATIONS

1. Entries Fees

  • Entry fees are $50 per rider (10,8,5 classes)
  • Entry fees are $60 per rider in Open H/C
  • Youth Classes are $15 per rider
  • Two-Plus Class is $45 per lower rated rider, and $10 for the mentor rider.
  • Payment can be made via e-transfer to atcpsentries@gmail.com
  • Invoices are sent out by email.
  • Fees are to be paid BEFORE you ride Saturday, NO exceptions!

2. Show Weekend Format

  • Saturday order of go: -- Open H/C -- Youth classes -- 8 class -- 2 Plus class
  • Sunday order of go: -- 10 class -- Youth classes -- 5 class
  • Number of goes per class will be 1/2 back if under 50 entries. 
  • If the entries are 50 and above, it will be reduced to 1/3 back.
  • Open H/C will also have a top 10.
  • 2 plus class will have first go, then 1/2 back.
  • Youth classes get 2 goes with each team.
  • Time allowed for Open, 10 and 8 classes is 60 seconds,
  • Time allowed for 5, 2 plus and youth classes is 75 seconds.    

3. Entries Info

  • All show entries are entered online in www.epenner.com 
  • Teams must be entered by 6:00pm on the Monday prior to the show weekend.
  • Open H/C riders can enter a maximum of 12 times. 
  • Riders can enter a maximum of 5 times in the ten, eight and five class 
  • Senior Youth riders can enter 2 pick teams. **Must be 16 and under to enter.
  • Junior Youth riders can enter 1 pick team and 1 draw or 2 draws. **Must be 12 and under to enter
  • Two-Plus riders capped at 2 entries -- unless the class exceeds 20 teams, in which case the entry limit will be 1 entry per rider. (Motion made on Nov. 13th) There may be allowances made for mentor riders to ride more than twice.  It is a draw class and will run Saturday after the 8 class.
  • The 2 plus class consists of two riders whose combined ratings do not exceed 2, and a mentor rider rated as a 3 or higher -- PLEASE NOTE: the 2 plus class is not a CTCPA Sanctioned Class.

4. Points

  • Each class will receive equal value in payouts &/or prizes for the year end prizes.  
  • Year end prizes are awarded to 5 places.
  • For all classes, points are tracked for teams and individual riders. 
  • Year-end prizes will be awarded based on point standings accumulated by teams and individual members from all ATCPS shows attended. 


**Regional (ATCPS) Finals Qualification: 

  • The number of qualifying shows for the Regional finals is five (5) shows.
  • You must ride at least once each day for it to count as 2 shows.
  • A rider can enter ANY class at Regionals if they have their qualifying 5 shows. (excluding the adult rider in junior youth class)
  • The youth riders must have entered at least five (5) shows in order to qualify for the Regional finals.


**CTCPA Nationals Qualification: 

  • You must ride at least three (3) times per day for it to qualify as a show attended.

5. Payouts

  • Payouts for all sanctioned classes are as per the ATCPS payout schedule and will be posted at the shows.
  • The payout for the 2 plus class is 60% and all 3 riders receive equal payout.

6. Memberships

  • Membership fees are $77
  • Adult Individual Membership fees are $190 (that includes $77 ATCPS membership, $13 insurance fee, $40 CTCPA fee & mandatory volunteer levy fee $60)
  • Sr. Youth Individual Membership $23 - $77 membership fee is FREE ($13 insurance & $10 CTCPA fee)
  • Jr. Youth Individual Membership $13 - $77 membership fee & $10 CTCPA is FREE ($13 insurance fee) 
  • Members from other Associations fees are $150 ($77 ATCPS membership fee, $13 insurance fee & $60 mandatory volunteer levy)
  • If you choose to volunteer and help make our show run smoothly. We offer gate volunteers .75 cents a team in each class! 
  • Not only that, you can also make back your volunteer levy by helping ATCPS set up Friday or tear down Sunday. Many hands make light work and that gate is HEAVY!
  • Members are asked to track their own participation for volunteering. Don't worry if you forget to, Whitney will also be tracking volunteers participation.
  • All riders entering the arena must be ATCPS members or weekend members to initiate insurance. This requires the completion of the applicable documents.
  • Your CTCPA rating card must be evident while riding. 


  • Members from other Associations can pay a $25 weekend pass (applicable to 1 weekend only)
  • Judges Membership $77 - for Non riding members - ($24 membership fee, $13 insurance fee, & $40 CTCPA fee)
  • Associate Membership $37 - for Non riding members - ($24 membership fee & $13 insurance fee) 

7. Camping, Stalling and Parking

Please BOOK all camping and stalling with Josephine Walters (show secretary) 780-241-0320

  • If you are booking stalls/camping for the 2026 season, please emphasize that while booking.
  • Camping with power is $10/night -- camping is assigned to 4 members per power post.
  • Stalling is $30/day, includes 2 bags of shavings
  • Limited amount of stalls (100) we'd like to encourage members to bring their own panels.
  • Limited amount of assigned power spots (40) please share them fairly.
  • Assigned camping spots and stall list will be posted on Facebook.


  • Do NOT block the man doors, these are fire exits.
  • NO parking along the outdoor arena fence, that is a horse tie-up area.
  • DAY parking is located on the West side of the indoor arena.
